Terms of Service
Last updated: June 11, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Asceld website and the Asceld software, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Asceld ("we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service is lawful in your jurisdiction. The Service is not offered to persons in jurisdictions where its use would be prohibited, including any restricted territories we identify.
2. Non-custodial software
Asceld is non-custodial software. We do not take custody of, hold, or control your funds, and we never ask for, store, or transmit your private keys or seed phrase. Your assets sit in a vault whose signing key is held inside third-party secure-enclave infrastructure (Lit Protocol). That enclave enforces a destination allowlist: funds can be moved out of the vault only to the wallet you signed in with, and only after the PIN you set. Within those limits the agent acts autonomously on the strategy you configure. You are solely responsible for securing the wallet you sign in with, its keys and recovery credentials, and your PIN.
3. No financial, investment, or tax advice
The Service is a software tool. Nothing provided through the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice, nor a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. You are solely responsible for your decisions and for evaluating the risks of any strategy. See our Risk Disclosure.
4. Autonomous agent behavior
The Service may execute automated, autonomous on-chain actions on your behalf according to parameters you select. You acknowledge that automated strategies carry inherent risks, that outcomes are uncertain, and that you authorize such actions within the limits you configure. You may pause the agent or withdraw your funds at any time.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to, disrupt, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure;
- reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service except as permitted by applicable law;
- circumvent any security, rate-limiting, or access controls, including those of the on-site AI assistant.
6. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party protocols, blockchains, wallets, and infrastructure that we do not control. We are not responsible for the availability, security, or performance of any third-party service, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
7. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any outcome will be achieved.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Asceld and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, funds, or digital assets, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Asceld and its affiliates from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
Asceld is currently in private beta and the operating entity is being established. The governing law, venue, and dispute-resolution provisions will be stated here once it is registered, and we will update the "Last updated" date when they take effect. Until then, nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you have under the law of your own jurisdiction.
